MAC Antiqued eyeshadow look

One of my lovely followers, Jen W from My Funny Valentine, commented that she wanted to see MAC Antiqued on me so I thought I’d try out a quick look. Along with Antiqued I also used Coppering, Mulch and Tan pigment.

Clockwise from top left: Coppering, Antiqued, Tan pigment, Mulch

Unfortunately my camera battery died after 3 shots because the genius that I am forgot that I’d left it on while it was on live mode.

What I used:
MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot all over the lid up to the brow bone
MAC Antiqued eyeshadow on the lid up to the crease
MAC Mulch eyeshadow on outer v and outer half of socket line (crease)
MAC Coppering eyeshadow on inner half of socket line
MAC Tan pigment around tear duct
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on eye pencil in Lucky (copper colour) on bottom lashline and the topped with MAC Antiqued and Mulch eyeshadow
YSL Singulier Mascara on top and bottom lashes
Milani Liquif’Eye pencil in Brown on waterline and smudged on the outer half of the top lashline

I’m really liking Antiqued and I think its a great colour to create a chocolate/bronze smokey eye. In the picture I posted at the start, Coppering and Antiqued look the same but Coppering is a bright copper colour while Antiqued is definitely darker and has more brown to it. I can see both these colours working across skin tones but I have to say that from the pictures I’ve seen, I especially love Antiqued on skin tones that are NC/W 45 and up.

Have you tried Antiqued? What do you think of it and how do you wear it?

Melanie: Why thank you 🙂 Although the perfectionist in me really wants to redo the look and take new pictures because I'm really not liking the ones that are up lol. Have you tried Antiqued?
