Brown Soft Smokey Eye

It’s been a while since I did an eye look so I thought I’d put one up. The look I did today was one using MAC’s Patina, Mulch, Wedge and Carbon eyeshadows. It’s basically a soft, neutral smokey eye.

Here’s some pictures:

Products:
Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP)
MAC Patina eyeshadow
Mulch eyeshadow
Wedge eyeshadow
Carbon eyeshadow
Shisheido ‘The Makeup’ fine eyeliner in Black
Givenchy Phenomen’eyes mascara in Black
Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencil in Zero (black)

How to:
First I primed my eyes using the UDPP.
I used a shader brush to pack the Patina all over my lid and just up to the crease.
I used my pencil brush to place the Mulch into my crease and in a v shape on the last third of my eye. I then blended it out using my 217 brush. I picked up some carbon with my pencil brush just to darken out my outer V and then blended again.
I lined the last half of my bottom lashline using the black pencil liner and smudged it out. I then took my pencil brush with Mulch on it and worked it in on top of the pencil.
I finished up the eyeshadow part by using my 224 blending brush to blend some Wedge eyeshadow at the top so there wasn’t any harsh lines.
I lined my eyes using the liquid liner and put on mascara.

This look is good to go as it is but if you wanted to make it look more intense then you could just use more Carbon eyeshadow until it was as dark as you wanted and intenisfy the liner on the bottom lashline. If you’re going out somewhere then you could also amp up the look by using some false lashes. In the picture below I used some black Ardell Wispies. I hope you like it!
